Meet: the Balloon Designer

Hey All! Your favorite balloon artist here!

It was interesting. Yesterday I was entertaining at Friendly’s restaurant in Hershey and was able to meet a lot of new people! Plus, there were a few familiar faces that I had seen at the restaurant before! I had the pleasure of meeting a young couple and the lady asked me to make her a yellow VW bug modeled after her own vehicle. Speaking of which, check out this cool photo of the finished result! Even though it was the first time I made it, I thought that it turned out nice!

We had a lot of fun talking and the gentleman asked me what my family thought about me being a professional balloon….artist? He wasn’t sure what my profession was. His girlfriend then lovingly corrected him. She said “No, Honey, she’s a balloon designer!”

Balloon designer: it has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? I think so. It always amazes me how most people don’t really know what to call balloon artists. Is it a balloon artist, a balloon twister, an entertainer? WHAT are we called? Well, from now on. Call me Tristen…a designer. Balloon designer.
